It popped on 'Difference of Opinion' (burn the posters in the mill), so I don't think it's that one. I wonder if this caused some confusion in the game, because it marked the challenge as completed, but I didn't actually 'do' anything.Īssuming that it's a challenge itself that is bugging out in the count and not something completely random, it would have to be one of the first six challenges (Syria, Siberian Wilderness, Soviet Installation x4) since those were the ones I had when 'Looking for Trouble' popped late for me. This meant that as I stealth-killed the first three, they were auto-looted. Since I did everything I could before advancing the story, I'm pretty sure I had an extra skill point or two and picked up Efficient Killer by the time the Trinity guys attack your base camp. One theory - the only 'weird' challenge I could think of among my first six (on the initial playthrough) was 'Grab and Go' in the Siberian Wilderness. Then I saved the completed game to PSN, hoping that, if the glitch is triggered by doing something as part of the challenges themselves (rather than something completely unrelated), at least I would be able to restart the challenges from scratch without having to beat the game a third time. I did literally nothing except charge through the game (no relics/docs/anything, not even finishing what parts of challenges I could easily do so on the way, because who knows what triggers the glitch).

It did take about 5-6 hours for the main playthrough, then another 1.5-2 hours to go through the challenges themselves. With a couple USB drives available, deleting everything and starting fresh isn't really a problem since it can be so easily restored. Given that reloading the save and deleting/reinstalling didn't work, it was possible that the bug was saved in the profile, which I would think covers all save slots. I just finished the second run and it did pop this time (literally - the last two minutes or so were Trophy pop, fist pump, refresh this thread, start posting). Hate it when you are punished even you have done everything right:mad: Edited Octoby bard8392 Personally I am giving the second run a try since people say it takes somewhere around 5 hours with the lowest difficulty. This is the last trophy keeping me away from the platinum. What he did is saving the new game in the second save slot. There is a bug that causes you to get hit by a fire arrow when you try to use the. Use a trebuchet to light the signal towers. I have got a friend who had the same glitch and did a speed run for all challenges, he got the trophy popped without deleting the old 100% save. Rise of the Tomb Raider Story - The Lost City. Ill probably try another playthrough and wait until the postgame, back it up to the usb and THEN do all of the challenges. My plan is as follows:ġ) Save my 100% game to USB and delete everything local (including profile)Ģ) Run through the game as quickly as possible without touching anythingģ) Save completed game (w/ no challenges) to cloudĤ) Run through all challenges and hope it popsĭid anyone else who had this glitch manage to get it to work later, through any means? Reloading a save right before finishing the last one didn't work, even after deleting and reinstalling the game. I was pretty sure it was going to, because I'm positive that when 'Challenging' popped (do 5 challenges), it was after my sixth completed challenge, so one of the first ones I did didn't count at all.

We are hoping that the developers of Rise of the Tomb Raider will do something to get rid of this before many more of the fans reach the game’s end.Mine glitched too. Moreover, the guy claims he tried to get down to the said tower but then he was met with even more bugs and glitches. He further added that it isn’t possible to craft ammo at that point and there is no way the character can return to a fire from up there. If you do not have ammo for your pistol (like me) you will not be able to proceed any further in the game. During this climb an enemy will grab your foot and you will be required to shoot that enemy with your pistol. The bug can be encountered during your hectic climb up the final tower in The Lost City. Now that you are still reading this, a guy on Reddit says he was about to end Rise of the Tomb Raider, and in the last part – where you have to climb to the top of the final tower – he was stuck with a bug where an NPC grabs the character’s foot and he couldn’t shoot him because he was out of ammo. Without trying too ruin anything for you and with just the journalistic duty of reporting in mind, let us tell you that Rise of the Tomb Raider has a game breaking bug around the game’s ending.īefore we dig further let us warn you that this will probably spoil things for you.
